[glow=red]Violence is really a solution for all things, with it comes respect, and power. In human history most events that decided the world we live in today were outbursts of violence. "History of mankind is history of war" I don't remember who said that exept that it was said by someone historically famous. What are your thoughts?[/glow]

When they say Fighting solves nothing, it's not true.
Fighting does solve the fact that "Hey, I'm beating you up because I don't want you comming near me anymore" And most of the time, if you severely beat them up, they'll probably stay away from you. But some of the times, it creates more tension so the person will start to bring in weapons the next time you're in another fight.
Actions are stronger than words.
My health teacher demonstrated that by giving a person a mean look and saying I'm really happy at you.
Talking it out just doesn't solve many things. Atleast not permanent things.

Heaven help me, Im afriad I must agree with you.
Human nature is inherently violent, we seek to defeat and be better than our opponents using any means available. I know you feel a burst of pride and elation when you squish a spider or take a baseball bat to random objects around the house (Maybe that is just me ). That is just who we are. Violent.


Try as diplomatic pacifists might, some situations cannot be remedied without acts of violence. Saddam couldn't have been removed by talking. Maybe this world would be better if its inhabitants werent warmongering psychos, but that isnt the case.

yep. violence is the final solution to a problem if you cant resolve it otherwise. whats the only permanant way to get rid of them? kill them.

or the next step down is beat them up. but then as said above they can come back, with a weapon. it may accomplish as little as words. but definately, the only way to truely end a problem for good is eliminate it.


but for everyones good its better not to kill, and try to talk things out. if that dont work a fight might. if fights dont work and someone is unstable mentally someone may die. if the problem involves many people there may be a war.

thats sick. i can understand wanting to get out and do something thats not boring in the military... but too many people play too many war games, grow up watching too many war movies, think war is fun. think its a game. want to kill. its sick.

id only kill in self defense, defending someone i care bout, or if i was in a military situation.

but even if i join the military im not going to look forward to killing people. its something you may have to do, something you actually might not mind doing, but you shouldnt WANT to kill people youve never met.

I hate killing. I wouldn't join the military ever, for that reason. I don't see how people can actually look forward to killing. That's just sick, as amrtn said.

Violence is not a solution for everything. When some people were doubtful of Einstein's relativity he didn't say "Don't agree with me? DIE!!!".

Violence solves the problem, but let's say you almost kill a guy in a fight you initiated because he didn't return your $30. You go to prison. You won the fight, but you lost in life. The guy's laughing and having somewhat good life. You drop the soap in a prison shower, then hilarity ensues.

My point is that if you don't have a brain then yes, violence is the only answer, but if you do you will be creative enough to make a solution.

Most of you don't realize it, but most of you like to see death, pain, or injury. Why is that we laugh at someone when someone gets hurt. Like somebody throwing anf(american)football at you and it hits your head, people laugh. But it's pain.
Why is that the most popular games include a lot of blood in them.
Starcraft, Warcraft, Diablo, they all have blood and we love those games. And I think Doom3 has a lot of blood.

American footbal is violent. It's just a bunch of people fighting over a ball, and I blame it for america's obesity problem.

id like to see you prove that... sure you may have people sittin around watchin it during football season, but you also have kids runnin around playin it keepin them skinny.

football doesnt cause obesity. convenience does

and football has rules.. you dont just fight over it. cant clip people, can only tackle the guy with the ball, stuff like that. you cant just punch someone. there are plays.. i love playing football.


and lewk, master america, whatever i should call u, yes. humans do have a desire to fight and kill... but i tihnk alot of that comes from the way were raised now, watching overglorified war movies and such desensatizing us to killing.

Yes a game that requires you to run and build muscle mass. Sure, it causes you to gain weight because muscle weighs more than fat, but who cares? They don't fight over a ball either. You seem very ignorant of American Football and you talk ill about it when you barely even know it.

Ok, maybe you haven't seen a football match but I do not want to see painted man-titties. Football also encourages obesiety because "the big guy is always hard to knock down". Everytime I go to one of my highschool's matches there are a) fat people in the stands and b) some really fat players, but then agian I do live in Texas...

[glow=red] In Russia you don't go to prison for long, even if it is murder. My cousin killed a drug user 3 years ago, judge gave him 2 years in prison. He is out right now. And you rarely get expelled for fighting in school. Anyway US has too many laws, like the one that you can't carry a beer can if its not covered, what is up with that? As someone already said here violence is in our blood, we get the adrinaline rush from beating up those who are weaker (or stronger) then us.[/glow]

Ah, but that is the beauty of the world, everyone is different. You say potatoe, I say potahtoe. Call me a freak. Woop-de-****ing-doo, I dont really care. I will kill when I grow older. I am looking forward to it. Maybe you have not seen what is going on in the world, what is being done to American civilians; I have. That shit pisses me off beyond reason, I will kill the damn bastards who slaughtered my countrymen without cause. I will kill them and enjoy it.

You make it sound as though I am talking about killing little kids. Im not. I am talking about enemy soldiers and terrorists, people who would love to kill my family and friends. I will end their lives with a smile.

When someone has man-titties they are fat, and I'm not talking about the players, I'm talking about the fans. Most of them are fat from all that consession (sp?) food and tailgate food.
