Vanishing items from stash and inventory

Have you ever heard, of vanishing items(armors, weapons, rings etc) from stash and inventory? I only thought it was a rumor, until it happened to me as well.

A Zerk Ax, 2 soj and 3 high runes just "poofed" out???

Someone plz exPLAIN this to me???

Personally, never happened to me.. I've never heard anyone say it's happened to them either. It's usually "someone I knew.."

Yea duped items are going poof.. and I've heard 08 items are going as well.

Shouldnt semi perming it every server when you exit be a good way to preserve the object? or it doesnt work anymore?

Perming, and semi-perming are crocks, in my opinion.

The vanishing items thing has happend to me too, with a brand new jade talon, 39%res. Found the day before it disappeared, I was furious when it was gone. But I learned to cope(went to ladder).

But the vanishing item thing is real, and it pisses me off when it happens(vanishing jade talon wasn't the first time, happend to me in classic too).

thats what happens when you buy hacked/duped items. Gotta be carefull des days!

TEMP PERM METHOD :
all dupes have item keys they may be the same in a game with others and will disappear.
to temp perm, just enter trade and cancel/quit game asap, right away.
this will temp perm those pesky duped high runes (hrs) and sojs.
1.Enter Trade
2.Cancel
3.Exit Game

yes dis has happen to me before,ive losts alot of good stuff, had a greif zerk 38ias 396 lost
