Ok, my computer has this really really shitty card, it's a nVidia Geforce2 mx400/400... would it be possible to buy This card and put it into my machine (I just picked a simple card and cheap, Idk if it's even a good card)...

(I think the slots are just pci, but idk)

open your case and look at where you videocard is connected to.

google AGP PCI and PCIE to find out which you have, then simply choose a card that is that slot. case solved.

you probably don thave PCIE though

That is nice... but I'm willing to spend upwards close to 200 bucks... if you can find a better card with that kind of deal, I'll jump on it like flies on horseshit.

What's the specs of your computer? Besides the video card.. If you are willing to spend around 200$.. a new mobo/processor might be a better bet.

Ummm, I really don't have a clue on how to install any of that except like the Video card and ram sticks.... Plus this computer is in a compaq tower so yeah... I'd probably have to buy a new tower....

I know my shit's weak. but if I only have to put a new gfx card in it and it will run some of the newer games.... that's all I want... but if it won't and I need to buy a new computer.... looks like I might actually try to build one. (even though I'll probably end up like ****ing something up).... actually, I DO want to build a computer...

Well, like Oblivion(It's not too new, I know, I love the game though), GRAW, FEAR, and some others that I'd like to play on close to medium to high gfx (I would even opt for SLI too)... if I do build a new computer I'll probably spend 1500-1700 (including a new monitor and speakers, mouse and keyboard)

Edit: I went to www.Cyberpowerpc.com and I just came up with a quick build that I think looks good

woo, I work for 8 bucks an hour... I would have to work 190 hours (63 and a third of a day) to pay for the son-a-bitch... But would that be a good setup to say to run any of the forementioned games on high?

SLI those, think that would work? (I'd work 4 more days if it would)

Edit:

I'm dead serious when I say I want to run games like Doom 3/Oblivion/GRAW/etc. on high
