"Unknown Game Version"... GRRRRR!!!!!

Ok, so, here is how it is going... I downloaded it all and i got everything, and when i click the start button, the windowed version of D2 comes up. BUT, i get an error it says, "Unknown Game Version". Is there anyone who can help me fix this problem...? Please and Thankyou.

You need the d2jsp.dll that came with the crack. If you have a different d2jsp.dll then it won't work the version crack.

i made the file with crack whore and put it in the system and in the system 32 folders...

can you explain a little more?

Download the latest crack. There should be 2 files, crackwhore and a d2jsp.dll
Put the d2jsp.dll into your c:\d2jsp directory and use crackwhore to make the cd key.

Latest crack up to date is for the 0.49.52 version of D2jsp. Use the latest crack with .dll file for this version only.

I did all of that, i mean, when i edit it and then i save, and open it back up, i Click Start, then it starts up Diablo 2 and then gets to where the bot should automattically sign me in and then it comes up with an error that says "unknown Game Version".

You have to edit the default file
Im serious put your name in exactly the way you seeit in your character config file where you see the example shown. this should fix your problem. If not then go to your yam leaders file and rename the leader as your name exactly the same way
