Ok, many of you may know that I was working on Great, Huge, and Very Thorough guide.. and now, it is time for me to uncover them 1 by 1. I hope many ppl can put their opinions on it
- Most of NE¡¯s units are ranged (hunteresses, archers, hippo riders, chimera, dott (also has a caster role), dryads) and they lack in melee units (giants, dotc(that also has a caster role) and hippos).
- They have fast moving units, but lacks in HP (i.e. Dyrads, archers, Dott, hippos,)
- Many of NE's Fighting force are Unarmored.. becareful when u see siege weapons and pierce attackers.
- NE requires a lot of micro in hero rushing, and for all other situations, jus like other races.
- Remember about hiding abilities, use full effect of it. (¡®I¡¯ is the hot key..)
- Remember, wisp will disappear when ur making ancient buildings. They can attack, and eat trees to recover life.
- Nature¡¯s blessing: upged in Tree of Ages (tier 2) this increases armor of buildings up to 7 or so. This also increases the movement speed of ancients by 40. (80 in total). This also upgs the treants made by KotG.
- Unlike other races, NE has special tanking unit, Mountain Giants. They can be upged to reduce 13 of dmgs, and some spell immunity. They can be best tanker if ur DH is weak, so don¡¯t worry if DH is weak, Mountain giants will gladly replace him. (but don¡¯t let them die, they give HUGE exp, and very costly to make again.) HOWEVER, they are weak as huntress with out those upgs, so going to tier 3 is MUST for NE, without those armor upgs, MGs are jus exp-giving-machines. Also remember that they have slow movement speed. Also, MGs cannot replace the heros when they die, but they can replace the role of Heros Tanking.
- Protecting your wood-gathering-wisp is must. If enemy¡¯s Blademaster or other heroes are killing ur wisp, unload 1 wisp from gold mine, and load the dmged wisp in. This way u can save at least 5 wisps, however it is not easy thing to do, unless u¡¯ve been doing this all the time.
- Always have about 2~3 DotC in ur army, for healing and roaring.
- Wisp only gathers 5 wood in so little time, and since wisp don¡¯t have to come back to town, you can use them for scouting in the map, let them gather in front of ur enemy¡¯s base! And have about 5~8 wisp gathering wood, this way u wont run out of wood.
- Moonwells¡¦ after u get to tier 3, upg the moonwells from huntress first, this is must thing for NE, since it will increase the mana in moonwell, and more healing for ur units.
- NE has to entangle the gold mine, which takes longer time than any other race in the game, so try this. Before you kill off creeps by the gold mine, make tree of life, and attack the creep with it. Then u can entangle right away, much faster .
