Unable to create/join game?

hi i have a question not for me but for a friend he has played d2 before but now he got a new computer and he installed the game and all that and then he wanted to keep playing his acc so he loggs in he can connect to it and can go in and join chat but he cant join or create a game.. and he can create and join on the open battlenet without any problem . both him and i have no idea what the problem is so if anyone have an idea ?? :sly he has a router now and he dident before but i dont now if that can iterupt it or something? please help...

I think, since Closed Battle.net is a little more private than Open (hence the lack of hacks), you're connecting to some Area 51 of the Battle.net server which the router (or someone unknown force) will not let you into...
