Well, even I couldnt connect to bnet for some days, now i found a temporary solution to my problem. it had nothing to do with a trojan nor with any other applications around Diablo II. The problem was that the url (or ip or whatever you want to call it) that pointed to the servers was either wrong or outdated. Therefore, I refreshed these ips and got new ones from the servers itself.
1) Go to Start/Run/ type regedit to open your registry.
2) Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE
3) Now DELETE the folder called Battle.net.
4) Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE
5) Now DELETE the folder called Battle.net
6) Run Diablo II and see if you can connect again.
I hope it works for you, because thats the only solution i got at the moment, its working fine for me.
Let me know if it also does for you.
