I may have been gone for a minute, but when did we get rid of the Asylum (again), and make BF look like a Hello Kitty fan page?

BF does not look like a Hello Kitty fan site. Its not pink. But it should be.
A lot of people got banned during Eric's and now Max's reign. Max isn't bad, but who the **** is he? He came out of nowhere. Not really in the tradition of BF. Now that the drama is over...
Honestly, I am a little sad. BF has just been so slowly going down since when I first joined.

It would be BF tradition to give admin to someone completely irresponsible, who spams sections as a staff member then mass merges and sends it to the void so he still gained the points. But I'm not mentioning any names.

I miss the politics, the harassments. Too bad people took them too seriously. DM left, regardless how some people disliked him. He kept the place going.

Just when Eric was admin, a list could have been made for those who posted at least once, maybe twice, a day. That list got a lot smaller.

IMO many mistakes were made before Eric was admin, and during. Complaining about them won't make them go away. We have to learn from them.

That's my bad. When I saw it, the page was still a generic vBulletin page with no HTML or graphics. But still...I'd like the asylum back.

Well patience shouldn't be an issue for anybody with the Asylum. Block out certain words, and let people ****ing speak their mind. That is what seperates the Asylum from any other forum on BF, especially Chit Chat. They had a point system in place, so why does it matter if what people say in the Asylum is "important" or "worthwhile"? That's all based on Admin's opinions. And stripping points from anything posted in the Asylum would take the point out of posting period. I say **** it. The Asylum was the backbone of BF and drew alot of new people to it. Now that everything is "serious" and ****, the fun is gone. Flaming and Call-Outs gave me a reason to stay up until 3am posting nonsense.
