ULTIMATE SPEAR/JAVAZON GUIDE

for those of you wishin to make a spearzon, look no further, someitems may be hard to find so its ok if some of them are non eth or relpaced by a few lower quality items, but you can only reach this spearzons full potential by having the listed items and being a minimum of lvl 85

gear:
helm-08valk/zon circ/reg valk
arm-archon fortitude/coh/enigma
boots-gorerider/imps/treks
gloves-javazon gloves with 20 ias res/knockback
belt-verdungos/tgods
rings- 2x ravenfrost(20dex 200+ar each) or 1 pbk ring 1 ravenfrost
ammy-cats eye/java ammy with ll ml res
1st wep- ebotd elite +3 java/spear skills pike(non eth if you cant find a good eth one)
2nd wep- titans/tstrokes and ss/phoenix(um'd or ber'd ss)
3rd wep(in invo or stash)- cta and lidless/spirit

stat points:
strength-base if you have anni, if not, around 50-70
dex- around 70-80 base dex if 2 rfrosts, if 1, 80-90
vit-rest
energy-base

invo:
sc- anni, life/32020/res scs
lc-none
gc- java/spear skill gcs with life/fhr if possible. get one with a bit of cold dmg to, just to help slow the monsters.


stratagy:
use titans/tstrokes at first to weaken the enemies and then switch to your pike and either use lightning strike or fend, lightning strike works best against larger groups but if its round 5-10 enemies you can use fend and just tank through them. regular dmg i did on non ladder with this build was around 6k fend and 4-5k lit strike, titans did about 2-3k lit fury. i was gonna make her on ladder with fort and phoenix to see how she did but that never happened.

lvl stratagy:
i usually power lvl all my chars except a few(frenzy barb, trapsin, cold sorc) so essentially i dont have lvl guide really, just max out each synergie as you go and make sure you dont waste any skill points, also i save my stat points till around lvl 75-85 so i that i wont have put to much into one stat and srewed up the build completely. but for power lvlin, for those of you who dont know this trick, get a glitch rush( get a lvl 1 in hell) and do diablo runs, if the game is full you get around 5-10 lvls each run and when you are lvl 60 go do hell ancients and baal runs. to glith rush, get a regular rush and then get 3 people in a game(rusher, you, person who can get baal q) ad kill baal, then you will be in next diff, do this for nm and norm and you will be laughing, then get your hell rush and do diablo rus, i did this mostly b/c i didnt want to waste time whiletrying to make a guide.

Feel like yah need to get a little more in depth. Definately explain your equipment choices - and the pros and cons of the items available. Also talk about the skills and synergies - and the strategies need to be a lot better. For PvM guides its a great thing to let people know about when they should put points into where - and its also nice to give at least Basic ways and means as to where to be at what level [ex: talk about when its right to go on to nightmare,hell].

Also - the guide isnt going to be all that helpful [thats what a guide usually is supposed to be] with only richer equipment options. The title is catchy but the item options will turn away 95% of the readers. Most of the people who read and follow guides tend to be slightly newer - although there are plenty of exceptions.

Until you go a little more in depth - this is more of a character list than a guide.

Not too shabby. Aside from the grammatical errors, heh. I always liked Spear Zons, and the skill fend (using a huge pike to jab something was always fun when I had my *sucky*one...) Anyhow, pretty decent guide.

i have found 2 things.
1. Dont make non-eth botd. Its waste of the runes.

allright, then i shall edit a bit in a awhile, just gonna remake, and with the non eth botd, it took me like 3 weeks to find a good dmg zon pike with +3 java/spear skills man, during that time i was using a non eth and still doing about 4.5-5k with fend

Well i would say .. if u cant get a Good eth amazon Spear go with a eth war pike or something like it.

yeah but yoiu want the 3 to skills, thats the main thing why i made this zon. without that +3 to skills lit strike does allmost no dmg compared to with it. its amazing how much 3 skills can make a diference in killing cows

lol@fend, just max all the synergies for lightning.. and no need for valk, with shield and merc, you can tank on your own..

Charged strike + fury + jab > all.

and dont use two raven, just use one, and have dual leech with + AR and allresist if you can find one.

you use fend for larger groups most of the time, dual ravens b/c the ebotd pike takes 112+ dex, the rfrosts save stat points for more life. unless you are willin to spend the extra 15-20 dex so you can have a bit of leach that the ebotd allready provides. and the valk is there as a decoy pretty much, a moving target so that not everyone will flock to you, and when i made this char i didnt have a good merc so valk did her job.

I still dont get why you'd go spear tho, when jav is much more better in PvM.

fury is better for larger group
chraged strike is also good
jab is ok against 1v1.

and I wouldnt waste having 2 raven on my zon.. when you just need one, charms or other items can do their job well... I'd prefer leech ring wiht + AR and all resist, after all.. zon gears dont offer much resists.

Also, other helms work well, like andy's helm.. then theres that crown helm, crown of ages..?

Shako is also a good helm for a Amazon like this i think. it got nice life+mana, 2+ skills and 10 % dr. The 10 % dr. Come in handy cus u dont have a shield when using Spear.

Valk has: 1-2 ama skills. 20% Frw. 20% Fhr. and some more.
Shako Has: 2 all skills(give better bo if u use cta). 2 all Attributes. 1-148life + mana. And 10 % dr.
This build is for PvM so the faster run walk wont help so much. The + skills are allmost the same. (Shako better if using cta) and 20% Fhr isent better than 1-148life + mana. And 10 % dr.
