i found my pop's gun right and it didnt look loaded. i know better that to play with guns but i coulnd resist

i pulled down s and it clicked once, i pulled it down again and it clicked again.
did i just like load the gun or sumthing?
oh and the handlie part is like hollow, i can see inside the hole at the bottom and on the barrel is says caliber 45 and us. army

did i just like ****ed up the gun? help me b4 they found out.

pull the slide back, and a bullet should come out. If it doesn't then don't worry it isn't loaded.

If a bullet comes out then try and pull out the cartridge, there should be a button on the gun somewhere, just put the buillet back in there, and put it back in the gun.

When the Goverment 45 is empty and you work the action, (pulling back the slide) it stays open ready for the next Clip and bullet to slide into the chamber. Just reach your hand down there and work the lil catch, hold thumb grooves on the back so it don't slam shut on your lil finger..
