Ok, I am making a Zealot and my gear is like 3/4 1.09 gear.

I am going to list it, and you tell me if I will survive in duels.

Don't tell me what gear to use, since I know what gear, just don't have the resources to get any of it.

Helm: 40/15ias .08 gaze
Armor: 160/60ias sup archon
Amulet: Highlords
Weapon: Eth BOTD Zerker
Shield: Um'd SS
Ring 1: Ravenfrost
Ring 2: Viper Whorl (the duped one)
Gloves: 20% ias, 3% life leech, 9% CRB, +20 life crafted gloves
Boots: Marrowalks (str + dex)
Belt: 8/10 Strings

Charms:
Enough fhr for over max
6 x 3/20/20s
+100 spdc w/ resist all
+100 spdc
resist all sc's
dmg/life/ar charms

Build:

20 Sacrifice
20 Zeal
20 Fanaticism
20 Holy Shield
10 Vigor
10 Charge
Rest into pre-reqs and Salvation

With this build/gear setup, do I stand a chance dueling?

well,you should have high maxed block wich will help,you probly want maxed res if you duel,the fhr helps,so you should be abot to take on other melee chars pretty well.does the 160/60 add much damage?if it doesnt i would think bout enigma for the high ,rw is important to catch runners like bow zons or fire sorcs + str adds damage,dr,rw,and tele nice saver if you get slowed

with charge u might win.. i saw charge + zealdin that owned some pk rooms... but jus make sure u got 75 all resist... or trappers will own u.

with those setups, you'll prob pwn.

Straight up zeal dueling i dont think your gonna do that well agianst other pallys or barbs nowadays(though you have an awsome weapon).

So many of them have eth exile, 2k+ def armor, bo from cta, massive AR due to angelic ammy/ring(s) and demon limb(lvl 23 enchant) that people with a decent but not 100% godly stuff dont stand a chance.

Ive been there and i got sick of the melee pvp thing, because it just seems to boil down to who has the best gear, and that usually ends up being the guys using d2 item sites heh.

Oh and I wouldnt recomend enigma for a melee pally, id chose 2k+ stone or some other high def armor over enigma.

lvl 1 charge will kill casters. dont add to vigor and that, add to defiance to boost your holy shield def, as it will help in melee dueling.

strange.. when i have worse gear than jason i got 15k def without defiance.. really strange huh?

and more charge = 1 hit kill.

10 charge and 10 vigor..there synergies for each other.

My resists should be max, might not..but should be.

defiance adds def..i'd rather have a fallback skill than added def..

I know you asked not to suggest gear, but I have to say if you could at ANY cost get CoH, do it. You don't need the 160/60 in regular duels b/c of less resists. CoH gives you all skills and all resists, but is only like 1k defense, but so is Enigma. And the 160 is nerfed in pvp, personally I think its overrated.

Does charge get a greater bonus from 10 in vigor @ level 10 or at level 20 with no vigor?
