This ****'s so unreliable I'm considering going by the name Mr. Disconnectibility or Mr. YouKilledMeBecauseIJustHadALagSpike (My name is normally Mr. Sensitive on CSS/DoDS). I was looking forward to at least some DoD action while I'm at training for my new job over the next 4 weeks, but looks like it'll be coming with the headache of frequent disconnects and lag spikes.
I wish there were just some sort of premium plan I could be put on that would guarantee at least DSL speed with 99% connection stability.
Times like these make me consider getting an Aircard. Working for Verizon Wireless now will at least afford me a pretty sizeable discount.
I also have to drive 2.5hrs from my home in Richmond, up to the training facility, and then back to Richmond to report for 1 day of work every week over the next 4 weeks. Yup, that's 20 hours worth of commuting back and forth between locations for these 4 weeks of hell.
And I just found out the $50 food allowance they'll be reimbursing me for does NOT cover alcoholic beverages!!!!!#$!@%^!#$^!#$%$!@$^@!#^!@#$%!@#$!@#$!@^@$%^@#$%!@#$!@$
