pierre vs fitch? brock vs hering? on aug 9. who do you think will win?

i vote for gsp coz i like him.

and i vote for brock, coz i believe he is the next best thing. he just needs to learn more about mma. Plus a 2 straight lose in the ufc might result to an early retirement and he is already 31 years old. too late? so thats why i hope brock would kick hering a$$ badly and prove himself.

they dont only hug in ufc, they also kick and punch powerfully/skillfully as well.

here are some that i like which are not world champions right now.

mirko cro cop, bisping, etc. and some random jap fighters.

im wondering if they have a real life ryu or jin or baki like fighter training now in japan. A young jap mma..tist prodigy.

I do watch UFC sometimes. But, I'd like it more if they just beat the hell out of each other, and had none of those holds or crap.

Not a huge fan of UFC, but I like to watch professional boxing and boxing in general since my boyfriend boxes - got used to it.

I watch it regularly on PPV, I don't necessarily root for anyone in particular, though I love Tim Sylvia. Brock Lesnar is fun to watch, though he isn't very good he's just really big.

yeh theres a lot of hugging and lying in this game. but hey its part of the game, in real life they could easily make you fall on your back and submit or kill you.

He got his ass kicked by Couture too, but that doesn't mean I didn't love watching him fight.

well he is a scary fighter so i always feel intense and nervous whenever he fights someone i like. most of the time he's just a boring fighter thats why i dont like him.

I get pretty bored. Too much grappling and ground play. If you're going to fight for sport it should be mildy interesting. There's nothing worse than a match where whoever wins is the first to hit the ground because they're likely finished after that unless the other guy makes a really wrong and illogical movement.

^ first impression. i always expected something more the first few times i watched ufc but most of the time they just all end up in the ground hugging each other. i always thought why can't they fight just like in video games or movies.

my suggestion watch more and you will understand why and you will love and appreciate everything that may come up in a fight even just fighting in the ground.

They can fight like they do "in video games." Only the rules allow them to take it to the ground and role around until one of them submits. There are a few MMA associations that do not allow grappling. This is one reason why I started liking boxing a lot more. It tests endurance, strength, and speed. You can watch fighters wear eachother down. The only time UFC will ever be worth watching is when grappling is banned, which it never will.

Acually the ufc is 100% allowed to fight just like in the video games. They do flying kick and superman punch as well. but the thing is it wont be easy doing it, since you'll be risking the fight because ufc fighter are just too good to counter you flashy moves. Flashy moves in real pro fights just does not work most of the time. but if you fight a noob and you are ufc qualified, you will have a an easy time performing your tekken and street fighter moves on them.

and so thats why grappling and wrestling are actually the best and effective way to beat down your "skilled" mma opponent. lay your opponent down to the ground for obvious disanvantages, and from there work on to submit your enemy or make easy hard punch on him from above.

what u think of mr. Kimbo Slice? personally i cant make any decissions until i see him fight someone with a little more uh...fight in him.

part of me says some of the heavyhitters in the game woudl knock him cold out, another part of me says hes still built like a brick wall regardless of skill

at first i didn't like kimbo slice because he is a black fighter, not being racist but usually blacks are just thug and arrogant fighters and thats just not my type. but i can see recently that kimbo is actually a humble guy and he respect he respect most of his opponent after a fight.

just watched ufc 86. gsp won! he is a true champion and humble respectful fighter as well. bj penn is arrogant for calling out gsp to fight he did even ask the champion properly. penn was like "hey man lets do it", and gsp was just like "hey i'll fight anyone who deserve". bj penn will surely regret it for the rest of his life.

brock also won. im happy that he won but im disppointed by his attitude after the fight, he showed no class and reminded me of tito. well its just his first win theres no need to be too arrogant like that.

my advice: be like gsp or end up like tito. lol

I saw videos of Kimbo Slice fighting random flabbos in some parking lot place before he got famous. They were on youtube. I guess if all it takes to get invited to attend in UFC is to take videos of yourself fighting mismatches in parking lots then I just might end up being the new UFC champion.
