Uber zon is that posible???

ok i have been hearing from some people that a zon is actually a good uber build but all the times that i have been in uber trist, all the monsters were immune to all resists. So how would a zon be good for killin ubers?? Can you also tell me a good build for a good jav uber zon and were to put skillz and were stats and what stuff to wear. Thx

if your were gonna use zon for uber u would be useing bow for most of the monsters in there are immun to lightning

No.. With a bow you will get your Pretty zon ass Raped... You got no shield to Block, No shield to add res... Also Crushing Blow only works half as good on bow as it does on Melee attacks i Belive.. And without CB you go no Chance at all....
Now for Java you might have a Chance... If you have a merc using infinity... With this you might be so lucky/good that you can get in and Kill the ubers pretty fast.. But then again.. The Venom lords that are imune to everything else than Pysical, have unbreakable imuneti. Means you cant really kill them... But what ever you do, a Zon will very Possible be expencive to make good enough for Ubers....

Look in the strat section on jav and bow zons. The gear is for the most part up to date, with some minor changes like CoH, Dream Helm and/or Shield. In my experience they are rather poor at Ubers.

What I have found to work is:
Solo or in a group Smiter is the best
Meteor/Bone Necro is a sweet combo
Zealer, ConBarb, Cleric are also good party characters here.

What I always wanted to try for the hell of it, but was never rich enough, or had a good enough puter for that matter was a +20 to skills(or more) summon Necro.
Imagine the lag issues with a necro with lvl 40+ summons ..... ouch.

What about using fend, as I am sure it is similar to zeal. Would that work better? If used on something without durability, like an ebotd maiden pike thing, would impale work well? It adds TONS of damage.

It has a bug that if any of the hits is a critical strike all the attacks after that miss. Sorry.

The big problem with zons, they are not good fighting melee close range with someone that does insane damage back. This is why most if not all zons work well at a distance. It is rare to find a zon go toe to toe with something, and in Uber Trist if you are not attacking close up and leeching, you will get owned by all the minions.

Best options as far as I have seen:
Smiter Pally
Zealer Pally
Frenzy Barb
Con Barb
Bone Necro
Meteor Sorc (best with bone necro)

Just to sum up what I've been saying before leaving this thread: Fend won't work. Skeletons + IM could be quite devestating and chocolate pie is delicious.
