People are saying melee characters are good at killing ubers since they attack close and leech life so they stay alive. Well some people are saying a bone necro and meteor sorc are good uber builds. Why is that? They don't attack close and leech life. Plus they only get 2 life per point to vitality so they difinitely don't have enough life. Then how are they good. Can someone tell me the build needed to make them be able to kill ubers.

I wouldn't say either are very good at uber trist. Perhaps they like bone necros because of iron maiden and/or life tap.

Melee characters are good because they can life tap, leach, and usually have impressive life. Not to mention that most monsters (if not all) have at least one immunity to an element.

Reason being, if someone uses a bone necro, and spams bone prison around the 3 ubers, and yourself, then a Meteor sorc can spam meteors on the Uber killing it in a few seconds. At the same time avoiding any real damage from minions as long as the resists are maxed out.

A friend and I (being the necro) did a Uber run in about 5 mins, nothing major, but, is rather well.

If you are looking for a amazing Uber build, check out mine under my sig. It does 800+ ED uses no mana what so ever except for casting Holy shield, and is a great (cheap) alterative to a smiter, and does just as well.
