Trouble hosting a game with Linksys router

For those of you out there that have a linksys router, what settings do I have to change in order to host a game?

enable the DHCP setting to your assigned router ip in the router control panel.

enable DHCP and allow the router to use 6911 port. dont make the fire wall cover 6911 port i mean

go to settings and look in it and therell be a box that says PORT SETTING, change it to 6911
