Tribes 2 update problem

ok, heres the problem, tribes 2 wont let you play unless your version is fully up-to date. now, i go to play and it says "Your tribes 2 is out of date but there are no updates to update Tribes 2" WTF!!!!!!!! makes me want to throw things at people and kick puppies. :angry :angry

Well, consider what happened, for I had this problem about 2 months ago. Tribes: Vengence has been released, so, more then likely, they shut down the main servers for Tribes 2, abandoning it, in hopes that they'd all switch to Vengence. So, guess us T2 players are outta luck.
