I just made a hybrid sorc cause..i felt like it..so im gonna share some details.
Skills:
1 in prequisites of the things i need. thats a giveaway
20 in nova (its fun!)
20 in light mastery
20 in firewall (its ..erm.. old school! like this whole build..)
20 in fire mastery
1 in every lightning skill give or take energy shield.
This build relies highly on fcr for the nova and/or skills for fire wall. Fire Wall is for meph. Nova is for duels and is pretty fun for cows.
Ive never been someone who uses expensive items so here goes.
Items: Your choice but im gonna give ideas.
shako or that sorc circlet
enigma or coh (enigma has mf!)
maras
sojs or fcr rings with mana
war travs?
magefist or chancies
occy/eschutas/hoto
lidless lol.
the strategy for mephing is to do the thing that bliz or meteor sorcs do but with firewall. it might take longer.
for dueling its all out guerilla warfare and fast use of hotkeys for nova/teleport. first you get ready with frozen armor,energy shield, and thunderstorm. Teleport up to him and do some novas. it will hopefully stun them before an attack and tele away repeating this.
so basically for dueling, you need some major skills but thats what makes it fun.
rest is up to the consumer.
this isnt the best build i understand.
but who cares.
i was on diablo 2 yesterday having a blast with my new sorc.
btw theres nowhere near the amount of people playing anymore
