The module is based on D2Hackit, you need this to run it so if D2hackit doesnt exist right now for 1.10, so be it. Unfortunetly this is only the method. The encrypted EXE my source and module were compressed in were stolen at a lan party a while back. hopefully you will be able to reconstruct a new module for it, or i can find my former friend who stole it from me and beat him to a bloody pulp ;) (ASK ANY QUESTIONS YOU WANT AND I WILL TRY TO ADDRESS THEM ALL)

Method Written Back in the days of lore(1.09d lol): should still work as none of the symantecs have been patched.
~~~~~~~~
TradeHack 4 - Nearly Perfect
~~~~~~~~
This method/module works for 1.09D of Diablo II. It may still work in 1.10 if a D2Loader is ever made.
Below in order is the mentality behind the method, theprocedure, the weakness, and how it works.

-TH4
TH4 is a pretty simple design. Its alot like TH3, but the victim thinks you really have the item since you can move it.
What happens, is you enter trade, move the item around, and set the trade hack. At this point YOU exit the trade, but the victim DOES NOT. The server thinks that there is no trade occuring during a short period of time. The module then request trade again and asks your victim a question. Your victim will hit ENTER to respond, and what happens is they ACCEPT the second trade by hitting the enter key. You open your trade window, with your item still in your inventory. The victim never knows the trade has closed and still sees the image of his item. Ask the victim to pickup and move his item around, it should then appear in the trade. Then you just watch as you trade your NOTHING for his SOMETHING. lol

-Procedure

1. Type: .load th4
2. Open a trade with someone.
3. Put the item you want to spoof on the trade window. Move it around like hell
4. When the other person is satisified that its real and they want to do the trade, type: .th4 set
5. The trade window will appear to close.
6. Your character will appear to say: "Is your bnet name %%VICTIMS-ACCT-NAME%% ? I just wanna know just in case." or a random phrase generated.
7. You will appear to request a new trade with the person. JUST WAIT for him to ACCEPT(he'll hit enter and accept automatically)
8. Ask him to move the item around. He'll still see your item and click accept when you see a suitable . You will now have both items.

-WEAKNESS (The only one in my opinion)

The weakness i have found is that when they hit ENTER to respond (IF THEY RESPOND), and they actually accept a new trade, a chat window does not come up and they may hear the sound of accepting a trade.

-How it works

For you programmers out there that want to make your own modified version of this, the basic principle is this:

-Using a combination of quick weapon swap packets lags everyone around you for a little bit.
-Sending "TRADE-more-gold-than-you-have" packets; dropping you from the trade.
-Repeated requests of accept trade packets also adds to the lag.
-One cancel trade packet so victim doesnt accept.

Inter-twining these packets at short but random intervals, and in different orders stops them from patching this. What this does is drops you from the trade but your victim stays in their trade window, thinking you are still there.

Ask any and all questions you wish, I'm til Saturday, Try the fried shrimp I hear its delicious ;)

If you really want I can recompile an external packet sender built solely for this module and upload that later on.

PS: Its not like i give a damn about post count so dont try to burn me for double posting

yea. but it took alot of endless group and solo experimentation to find this. it was during one of my final trials that this worked. i then tested it and it worked on about 6 out of 7 people, to who i returned their stuff. lol

Two things:

If a new trade buffer on the second request, which is my understanding of it, won't the victims buffer be cleared of the item?

Is the lag created after the first time you exit from trade or before the process begins?

Thanks

EDIT: If you released the packet sender, that would be great.

you are a ****ing genious man...I would never have the patiance to even try smth like this...unbeliveable :O

but wouldnt the d2hackit-plugin for 1.10 loader work? or this new d2dark? couldnt you just:
1. re-compile / re-write the module
2. use one of these pack-senders
3. only give the module to me (jk :p)

your the man...the bnet will always remember UE as the creatOr of th2-4...that's pretty awsome o_O

@KronixIsGod: 1. Yes. On the server the buffer is cleared. But since the clients trade window never closes, the item doent disappear from the trade window (visual buffer) since buffers are only cleared clientside if the trade window closes. 2. The lag is created when you type .th4 set so just before/during you close the trade, so that it only closes on your side/serverside, but remains open on the victims screen.

@ starfish: lol. if there is a current d2hackit then this module should work. im 95% sure it still would. havent tested it cuz i stopped playing about 5 months ago, but have stayed tuned in with the patches etc

I have been testing some stuff. I wrote up a little D2Dark script and ran it. I came to the conclusion that there is no way, after exiting the first trade session, to get around the message,

"You must wait a short time to trade with that player".

How is one supposed to get around this in the short time you have before the server recognizes there is not a trade session?

the lagging process takes about 5-7 seconds, and closes the windows in the midst of it. it then waits about 2 or 3 seconds before asking the question to the victim and then requests trade

i recalled fixing that particular problem

And all this time the victims window is open?

yes. if correctly done, the victim's window stays open because it never receives the trade closed packet. i think that this occurs do to some poor error checking in D2's code, involving sending trading more gold than you have.

@ everyone: this is a pretty simple concept. if you've worked with packets or module making before, this should be a pretty simple project for you with a much greater reward. so dont sit on your asses and say that without a module its useless. cause after what they've said on blizzhackers, I sure am not going to re-program it for them. it sounds like kronix is on to something, so i'll gladly help him or anyone who has any questions
