TPs not working?

I had a problem the other night when I was in the Rogue Encampment, all of the TPs that my buddy was sending me weren't working? I would walk over to them, click on them, and my Zon wouldn't go through...so two more people came into the room, sent me a TP, and I couldn't go into theirs either. The bad thing about this was I was doing a COW leveling spree and I got ambushed and died...got sent back to the rogue encampment and I couldn't go get my body...Not even the Cow portal would let me go through it. I waited about 20 minutes, tried everyone's TPs forever and I just couldn't get through them.

So, I turned off my computer, lost all of my weapons and armor for my zon and threw my keyboard out the window......

And you were partied up and everything? Your ping was at a low enough number that you could opporate without any problems?

When you're cowing, you need to have killed Baal in that difficulty to use peoples TP's to get in. The cow portal is based on the ping number. As for losing all your weapons and armor, I would doubt that, unless you put new armor and weapons on after you died.

When I logged back on 15 minutes after that I didnt have them, I do think it was because my ping was low or I was about to get booted out of the game, but I literally sat there for 20 minutes waiting to get booted, I'm sure thats a first, and it never happened. I dunno, but all of the weapons and armor I had equiped on her is gone because I couldn't go back to my body and get them, since her body was in the moo moo farm. Crap happens I guess, I just wanted to see if anyone else had the problem once in a blue moon.

Well I'll be damned...I logged back on today and I had my weapons and armor back, my Diablo must of been really screwed up the other night.

...when you die and rejoin a game your corpse is conveniently located back in town... when you die you dont lose any of your items unless you are on hardcore... as for the portal problem...it seems you just had very bad lag and the best thing you can do with that is leave the game and come back
