To switch or not to switch

I am thinking about switching from orc to undead but i am not sure where to start.I need a building order and bet units i am thinking somthing along the lines or feinds, statues and necros.how does that sound?

UD is the funnest race, I have to admit. What is fun, is when you get really good, you can start playing around a lot (and still win). Once you have reached that level it gets very fun.

ya even losing with UD seems to be fun... i would know.

They have alot of different ways to win and lose and are difficult to get the hang of... but thats half the fun.

Its good to spread your gaming horizon

Well, you have never seen me play before have you? I never ever get a large number of fiends.

Ya i have seen you play=) i played you 1v1 once. guess you dont remeber *tear trear* but if you dont get mass numbers of feinds what do you get?

prob mix of necros fiends gargs siege and statues

off topic: NOO DONT FALL TO THE DARK SIDE CLIPPERS~~~ come to NE and you can have showers with archers in the moonwell but in UD, u have to hug those ghouls...

Ahh I see. i have been using your fast feinds building order aragorn work pretty well i usualy have 1 feind out before i get my hero =).

(OFF TOPIC) Im still debating i used to play ud so i know them a little better, and if i do decide to play Ne prepare to be annoyed alot by me with questions =)

I did forget about that...I guess I dozed off or something...hehe

Anyways, there are MANY things you can get as UD. You don't always have to build fiends, IF you get good enough you can get ghouls every time. You can also rush, which adds even more to the experience.

Mass gargs works well against NE.
Necro Wagon works well against everything.
Mix works on everything if you use the right units.

With mix, you have to be careful though. Get about 4-6 of each unit depending on how expensive they are. Actually getting a mix of units is WAY better against NE opponents, since fiends counter hunts and ghouls can counter archers.

Other varying strategies include not always getting the DK first. Although, I often don't recommend it, it can be quite fun if you know what you are doing. UD has so many different strategies...and they all are heavily dependent on micro. The better your micro, the better you will be overall.
