Thoughts about CUBE DUPE and DUPESWAP

Well all people think that cube dupe has to do with that cube exploit. I think the exploit is maybe just a little part of it. Than there is the thread of oneyedMan which shows us that the dupeswap is maybe a part of that cube dupe too. Think about how DUPESWAP (yay, bd and so on...) realy worked. It stored the item on a bugged buffer on your body and than it was sold from that buffer, bnet was not able to remove the item from that buffer location and so it could be sold over and over again. What has this to do with the cube dupe??? Someon maybe figured out a bugged cube buffer location and stored the item in there. From this location the server can not delete the item and so if the cube drops the item drops over and over again.

Finaly some other thoughts: There are many buffers in the game like your body, (your body if you died), trade-buffer, cube-buffer, imbue-buffer, name-the-item-buffer, and so on all maybe exploitable for the DUPESWAP method. You just have to figure out a bugged location in one of that buffers. (I myself is a noob with packets and with programming but i just play with sniffer and d2hackit maybe i got luck and get a working dupe.) Ah and for those of you who can code programms (unlike me) the dupeswape source code is out there pm me for a link to it. If you are able to figure out how to dupe and my thoughts helped you feel free to pm me and give me the methode or reveal it to the public what would happend in a new mess to bnet

hehe ive read the sources for ds, and have been working on some stuff, but you gave some insights there.... thx, and you can be sure youll be the dirst to know if i find something related...

imbue buffer isnt a buffer. this item you place in the window is technically attatched to your cursor-buffer. that is why you cant pick up any more items after you place one in the imbue window.
