and if theres more than 1 perosn ingame it could have been whoever was highest lvl (determined by experience, not just lvl to handle 2 of the same lvls ingame)

It wouldn't be that hard to make an AI script like that. Just program it to counter you. For example, If you have oh say a Melee Javazon, the computer would make a throwing Javason. If you had a Zealdin or something it would make a FoH or Hammadin. Obviously if Blizzard were to do that they'd make sure that the clone had max all skills.

I doubt they would put it into D2 though. Their adding to the game, and their not making it any better. Which is what they did with W2 until W3 came out. So they'll keep adding to D2 until, A) They scrap Diablo all together or B) They Make Diablo III.

Could i own myself? yeah probally, i know my own weaknessess, no one else really does =/ Its really ez to make a clone of a character on battle.nets side.....its the ai that runs how each character is run that would be hard to develop... each person duels differently.... They would also have to improve the character, by giving it extra damage, life, resistance, absorb, ect on top of what your character allready has.

LOL! I mentioned this a while ago for ideas on quests for D3 in a thread started by Darkmatter.....
Only difference was it was a quest where a clone of you comes out of a mirror to fight you. I think it would be interesting if everything would be exacly the same stats, skills, pots, gear, merc ect. even if you changed your gear, the doppleganger would be the same as you still.
