I used http://www.thottbot.com/?i=59990 to teleport myself to Toshley's Station in Blade's Edge Mountain. As you all know, engineering is tricky, and can malfunction sometimes. Well, it did.

I like hunters to be engineers. They can make scopes, guns and jumper cables.

Best class for an engineer is definetly the hunter. It's actually a very role-playing characteristic of the hunters ^^

It's kind of odd when the team whipes except for the FD'd hunter, and then you get a pop up saying that he wants to resurrect you. Freaks me out.

And now it works with the mages. A priest being ressurected by a mage after a wipe = pwn.

No, not at all. Engineering is only good if you're trying to go for a laugh once in a while. If you want to make money, make a crafting profession, and a gathering profession to help you with that one. If you want to be tailor, go enchanter, since cloths are mostly in instances, where there also are green items.

The mechanostrider is the gnomes' racial mount, you can't have it unless you're a gnome, or if you're a Dwarf exalted with Gnomeregan Exiles.

...yeah i got a Gnome Rogue. but i think it would be pretty cool if some of the other mounts are available to others as well (im not much of a fan of this racial mount thing... i never really liked exclusivity, but im no communist either. lol).
