you probably didnt import them the right way.
Paths are:
Units/race/unit/unitskin.blp
example:
Units/human/footman/Footman.blp
Units/nightelf/archer/Archer.blp

type those in the WE importer and for the model file of the unit.

if it is a skin, it has to be based on an origninal unit. what was the unit that was skinned to form a sniper? if it is a model, than that is different.

Sniper... is that what u named it? is the model/original skin a rifleman? if so..then i can help you...

The path for a rifleman is: Units\Human\Rifleman\Rifleman.blp

The skin name is most likely sniper...but the original is a rifleman. So, go to import manager>import the skin>double-click it>clikc the little 'custom path' box>copy this into it Units\Human\Rifleman\Rifleman.blp>press ok>have to restart editor/can't see the skin for the first time w/o restarting it
==========
If it's a model it may be Units/human/sniper/sniper.mdx

notice the MDX, not BLP. BLP= Blizzard Picture -- MDX = Model
