What speed do you plan to clock your processor at? Are you overclocking?

Okay, but what speed are you planning to have it at? and, if you know the temperatures, post them here too.

AMD Socket 939 Athlon 64 3500+, 2.2 GHz

hmm, i think some heat sink fans will do the trick. but get a few of them, it is a lot cheaper than a thermal cooler.

If its an Athlon 64 3500+, yessir, that is a very good gaming computer.

If you want more stability and feel like you are safe, i would go with thermal.

Ah, its a piece of cake, just look at the wiring on the computer you are using now, and if you get a new motherboard, look at the manual on that.

And yeah, go with the fans.

Everything on the mobo tells you what it does, and it it doesn't the wires probally only atatch to what they are supposed to. But if you are just lazy for $50 your local mom and pop computer store will put it together probally.

Thermal cooler? You mean thermal paste
No it is a diffrent kind of cooling system.

Thermal past isn't to keep your heatsink on...that's what the little metal brackets are for. Thermal paste keeps your processor even cooler. Actually, putting a heatsink on without thermal paste is quite dangerous...because your processor will burn....thats what the paste is for, damn I'm tired.
