Thee best character for running Pindlebot

shoot me if I'm wrong but I don't understand why so many people run their pindlebots with sorcs. I guess sorcs can have alot of MF % yes that is true. And maybe their gears don't cost as much.
But if you think of Ist runes on your alibabas and shield they too can be pretty costly.

what about barbs? I used to run my bots with sorcs too. But not until I found enough items to afford a MF barb. They can have more than enough MF % with much more success rate on runs.
cuz of more life and resistance, plus much more faster runs due to faster R/Ws and chunks of dmg.

My MF barb:
08 Ptopazed shako
highlords wrath ammy (can get much more with a dupedMFammy)
Ptopazed Skullders
Ao ith sword + 180 MF ith CB
goldwrap
plague master ring + wring
37 War Travelers
rare 27% MF gloves (legit: with 20% IAS, Leech and resistance)
some MF charms and hexes

Maybe I'm leaving out somethiing but all my items add up to a well over 500% MF. with a success rate of 97% after thousands of runs. Maybe its only possible in West I dunno. I just don't see why most people love to use sorcs for Pindlebotting.

I run a barb, his setup is listed on the sticky. So far im happy, but I want to run multiple bots and doubt I could afford another 6 isted ith blade.

U will understand easily the difference between a low cost sorc and a Barb ITH 6IST and so on when Blizz will do a Wide Ban Day again....

A Sorceress can have alot of MF without affecting it's damage, if a barb uses those ITH CB with IST, they're damage is pretty weak. As far as Pindleskin, a barb might be able to do it as fast as a sorceress, but I'd sure like to see one teleport to meph in 8 seconds. =P

I tried running a meph sorc yesterday, decket her out pretty decently (rull resists, some dr, decent life/mana) . I watched her do about a dozen runs to make sure she could handle it, she pwned meph with flying colors, almost never even getting hit. I watched tv for a bit, came back to see run # 37 exited, then d2jsp stopped. She died >_<

There goes SS, pile of 7mfscs, etc.

Stick with barbs for hc.

i run sorc.only death she had was when i sent her botting NAKED.but i got like 15k runs and like 98% success.that meph.bout 20-45 sec runs depending on distance and i run a zon on pindle.pretty much there to lvl her up.

i botted with my barb, zon, and sorc, mostly for leveling (before my acct got deleted). if i ever bot again it will only be with a sorc, because it is a lot cheaper.

The reason every one uses a sorc is because the damage is inflicted by the skillz, not her attack, so she can sacrifice almost all of her items for resists and magicfind.

My sorc that was recently banned by bliz... who used

P topaz scoulders
P topaz shako
eth ist occy
1 con ring
1 occy ring
goldwrap
47% travs
40% chances
fletch ammy
rhyme shield
and 2 energy hex

Total mf was 720 including a bunch of 7%mfscs

in 17800+ pindle runs she had 98.27% success rate
i will stick with sorcs for ever i found my 2 gf
s and wf with this sorc

Anyone ever try this with a necro or elemental druid? Because if you read my above post, itd be the same concept, you'd use your skills so you could sacrifice items for mf and resists...
