Yeah hehe lets start a review thread to see what we all think about the games we play. Reviews should be pretty descriptive so no posting a review like this
Code:
Halo 2 Review
This game PWNS you!>S@!
none of that... I will have a mod delete the post

Mech Assault 2

Graphics 9/10

Great looks and the scale when you get out of you mech makes you go wow! that thing is huge great look but when you do get out the textures do look kindda smeared cuase you closer to them

Game Play 8/10
Well the game plays really smooth but if your a pc mech warrior vet you will admit they do turn too fast but hey Mech assault is supposed to be action packed and that does give you some chance if attacked from behind. Controls are top notch only complaint is that Y is the get out button.

Multiplayer 7/10
Its ungodly fun and challenging on gripe is that not enought people play it. I hope it picks up... Been playing a lot of this on system link latly with some local guys its hella fun...

Fun Factor 9/10
well everything online is a blast and the campaign is easy and short but fun. Some will argue that they murdered the single player but i dont think so as i want a game i can beat not one where i get stuck and not play it.

Sound and music 10/10

Well that mechs sound like 100 tons of pure lethal destuction which they are and the music you wont notice much but its good for combat and they have 2 lisenced trackes on the game Papa Roach's Getting away with murder as the title song and a Korn song for the credits.

Overall a great game just takes a little getting used to. and what i mean by a little should really be a lot of getting used to i recomend a rent here first
There is one thing of Dl content but its costs 6 bucks and i dont have it yet so i dont know if it adds anything new and improved
Total Score 43/50
Percent 86%

Well, I think you over rated Mech Assult: Lone Wolf, I dont think its that great.

Im not going to put ratings (i.e. 7/10) because I would just end up rating it all 9/10.

Forza Motorsport

Graphics
Forza Motorsport has AWSOME graphics. The best for any racing game out on the Xbox so far, overall the game can easily be compaired to other games (Halo 2, Brothers in Arms, Doom 3, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory) graphics wise.

Gameplay
Easy to learn, takes practice to master. Controlls are not hard to use, but like any racing game, the control of your car is very important, turning is the only difficult thing for me in this game. Other than that, A+.

Multiplayer
The multiplayer is the best part of Forza Motorsport. Not so much split screen, but over Xbox LIVE. Purchase or buy other player's cars, join car clubs, there is a ranking system, and of course race.

Fun Factor
You cant compete with this racing game, split screen, Xbox LIVE, system link play, is all fun stuff. Also the deepest costomization, from fine tuning your transmission to applying graphics to your vehicle. Have fun racing your Volkswagen Golf, or your F1 race car.

Sound and Music
Great sound effects, mediocre music. The music in the game is good stuff (for example, Iron Man - Ozzy Ozbourne) just no lyrics, the same beat over and over. Luckily for the costom sound tracks feature.

So after talking about all of that. Go buy it Forza Motorsport. Overall, I think it is an awsome video game. I myself dont own this game yet. I stayed up all night playing my friend's copy. I will go pick it up when I get a chance.

- Also. Was this review helpful? Or was it a waist of my time?

Ok i can do Return of the King but its been a while seince i have played it

Return of the king fallows closly in the foot steps of The Two Towers. The combat is pretty much the same and the game is stuctured to flow with the events of the story (if you are playing as Sam or Frodo you have to go though morodar and kick some orc arse to save frodo and stuff like that) You can exepect some parts that are a little confusing like this one battle with aragon legolas or gimli its right before or after you fight in the minas tirith square but you have to oliphants to save mary and pippen(lamest part of the game right there) The graphics are pretty good and the levels are fun. When you beat a level you gain experince to spend. There are special moves and character upgrades for purchase with a way to spend some more EXP but it will buy the combo for every character that uses it. Co-op play is avalible and is fun. If you know how the movies go the levels should be a cake walk as most of them fallow the movie. If you like mass madness combat and LOTR and action games this game will easyly stike your fancy. Load times were low and i was playing it on a ps2. Because the games are basically ports of eachothter you can expect low load times on the xbox as well

The idea of the game, and at first look, is very good. The final result, sucked. I couldnt stand to play this game for any longer than 1 or 2 races at a time untill i changed games. The handeling is horible, on every car. The brakes are retarded, you ALWAYS turn doing a 360 when you hit the brakes, no matter what. Things are unlocked WAY to fast, after 2 races, most of the level one stuff was unlocked for my car. The graphics are shit compared to other racing games. It was just a horible gaming experience. I deleted it from my xbox for Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition.

cota you gunna review Midnight club dub?
anyway ill do
Mech assualt one.
Mech assualt is one of the sickest games I have ever played, I loved it for PC when I was like 9, and loved it when it came out on Xbox. One of the only games my dad will play as well. I didn’t really like doing the story/missions whatever they are; I just did survivor/death match/arena. It’s where you pick a Mech, pick a map, and then your stuck there. And one at a time Mechs come at you. You just live as long as possible; this is WAY easier with the biggest, heaviest mech you can find. Plus with online, you can do teams like Cs, with friggin beastly robots. The graphics are great (I’ve seen better), and you can play it for hours at a time.
9/10
plus its probbably like 10 bucks now

Alright God of War-

The game's graphics are stunning, and quite well done, at least that's what you think the first five minutes of the game. For the most part, the graphics on the basic enemies are shite, and you get tired of the same old patchwork goons that you fight over and over, and all that seems to change is the color. The bosses are where the real work is poured into, don't worry, there are plenty of bosses, so graphics aren't a real waste. The environment itself is visually stunning as well, from the waterfalls, to the gigantic temple on a titan's back. The cinematics are good, though nothing to cream your pants over.

Gameplay wise, it's slightly new. Although nothing innovative. You get spells, which you upgrade by getting red orbs. You get red orbs, by killing goods and opening chests. Wash, rinse, repeat. It's a cycling system that gets old very fast. You can upgrade two weapons you get this way as well, your main chain weapons (range) and a giant falchion (slow as hell, but powerful [melee]). Althought I just stuck with my chain weapons, since by the time I got the falchion, I had become an expert with the chains.

Storywise ... No, there's hardly a decent story. It sucks. And I won't spoil TOO much of the game for thse that haven't played it.

Sound and music: I'll make this short. Sound, oo, ahh, good. Music, no.

I give God of War a SEVEN (7) out of TEN (10).

If you're a hardcore fan, I suppose. I reccomened renting it, then buying it if you're really bent on getting all the extras. The extras are worth getting too, alternate outfits that actually effect in game statistics, videos on the making of the game, a showcase of old character models, etc, etc.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

Players: 1 Player Campaign Mode, 2-4 Player Offline Multiplayer, 2-24 Player System Link, 2-16 Online Xbox Live
Genre: Reflex

Another Call of Duty is what I thought. Yet why would everyone be so hyped for this game? I bought and I saw.

The singleplayer mode takes place from two perspectives, the British SAS and the US Marines. It doesn't matter who you are, but what you do. You start your training with the British and from there you tackle your first mission.

Right away, the controls came naturally. Fire was right trigger, aim was left. I had to get used to melee and run however. To run, you have to press the left stick button and hold forward. Melee is the right stick button.

The first mission has you in a helicopter, over a crew ship that is carrying a bomb. Right away, the graphics hit you. The smoke that your commander throws off before he jumps down the rope... it's little details like this that make CoD4 believable.

As you jump down, you are in direct sight of the enemy. You fire and make your way to the bomb. Along the way, your teammates will be giving orders and using communication. The voices jobs are fantastic.

And that's the first mission. Then it switches to the war in the Middle East with the Marines. It's chaos here with bullets flying everywhere. It's quite easy to die. Of course I did go commando at times, but you do have to take cover.

I'm only a bit through the campaign, yet so far, it's very interesting.

Now as for Xbox Live, it's quite easy to jump into. Just click join and you'll be fighting with other players on different maps. As you play, you'll level up and be able to choose new equipment or perks, special upgrades that give you things like faster speed, more health etc. Although it doesn't seem realistic, it makes playing it deeper and besides, it's not realistic to have this battle anyway.

The singleplayer mode is called short, but that's not my focus. Right now, even though the story is the typical, "bad guy wants to destroy the world, yawn," the presentation really makes up for it. It's the details like how the camera positions from the world right to your soldiers face that make the experience enjoyable.

Online multiplayer is one of the deeper FPS games. The rank system is fun to climb up to. Battles are 8v8, but they still feel intense.

Offline multiplayer won't be as exciting but it's there, keep in mind there are no bots.

Overall, if you have Xbox Live, get this game. While the singleplayer mode is quite engaging, you need Live to get the full experience of the game. Multiplayer mode is lacking without bots, but you can do system link. The problem with system link is that only 1 person can play per xbox, even though it can do 24 people system link (24 tvs and xboxes... electricity bill wow).

The game is easy to get into, yet it rewards you for playing with the ranking system. With great graphics, an engaging singleplayer campaign and a rewarding online system, CoD4 is a game that should not be missed, even if it is a sequel.
Thumbs Up
