Well, anything that made sence from the "I have a working dupe...Finally" thread is here. So it would be easier for you guys to understand the procedure. Hope this helps.

Original Thread:
Setp 1: (Must Be in Act 1) Get three people in a game. One of the characters has to be a pally.
Step 2: Equip a bow and arrows.
Step 3: Hostile the Paladin and name lock him by attacking with your bow.
Step 4: The Paladin now smites you into town while your still name locked. This will allow you to attack him while in town. (You will look like your in town with your bow at your side, but the Paladin out side is still getting shot, he'll still be getting damage.) So now your 50/50 in and out of the Act 1 entrance.
Step 5: Now here's the weird part. This will either result in a dupe or a roll back. Either drop the item you want to dupe or roll back on the ground and then hostile the third person. The game will lag and you hit alt+f4. Then you will just drop. No message will be dispalyed saying that you dropped you'll just leave. Or you can trade the item you want to roll back or dupe to the third person then hostile them then hit alt+f4.

About the "namelock":
i think namelock means you can keep you mousebutton clicked but move the cursor around without stopping shooting, not sure thou
he means scroll lock.. anyone tested????

It works or not statements:
It does work, but the timing has to be so precise, that it's not really worth it. You should have sat on the couch and eaten chips for all that time you wasted trying it.
This does work. Lag dupe works but rarely. You have to be very precise and you have to lag to were it takes almost a minute for something you typed to appear on the screen.
when i got the c/i i tried to hit altf4. when d2 closed it was actually still open in my running processes
some1 told me that player A (the one who shoots) mustn be an amazon....
this does work and no ban
yea i tested this dupe out, it works for me, but only about 2-3 time per 10 tries, and i was only duping 08 items and jewelry.
This works, but is a little difficult to get everyone in the game to understand what is going on, but once they knew what i wanted them to do, we could try the method over and over, and u can do this in about 2minutes
do the steps he said then.. get player c to trade off ur items.
i traded 40 3/20/20's to him then ihostiled and alt+f4 it duped 40 so i had 80 now im hella rich!
I traded out all my shit!! IDUPED MROE!!
method 1 (the drop method) results in an immediate C/I for the bow shooter..
method 2 (the trade method) results in.. absolutely nothing.. no lag, no disconnect..
the char who is 50/50 is suposed to drop the item and they are supposed to hostile and they are supposed to alt+f4. when i do it, te whole not getting the messeage that my char left works. but it never seems to lag when i hostile and it never seems to still have the item on the char that dropped out of the game
