I believe he's talking about the forums. Quite often I have the most up-to-date post in all the sections (And it's at least slightly meaningful)

Starcraft isn't dying at all, it's just this forum.

and I think the mods should remove the hacking section..
It's just bringing more and more members w/ 0 post, you know what I mean?

to some degree yes the SC game is dying...more and more i see records 0-0-0
you may think that thats a new guy but no i highly doubt it

i also see more and more noobs plaguing the SC world...they disgust me especially because so many people...hmmm whats the term?...advocate? support? (you know wjhat i mean) noobs...

and not noobs and in newcomers i mean the standard noob definition as ppl call them on bnet...a sucky player with a crappy strategy and even worse reaction time

I concur. One of the reasons I retired from Battle.net play is because of the ignorant prats and the complete lack of good sportsmanship.

Well... I don't know whether or not Starcraft is dying or not, but I can tell you that I personally stopped playing for three reasons:

1) Sick of running into cheaters in every other game
2) Couldn't find any friends to play with/against
3) I don't have internet access

That third one is a real hindrance.

The player moral has sunk to a unbelievably low level, it sometimes makes me sick to see people cussing out other people in butchered english because of their loss or because the other guy/team is winning due to their strategy and not their ''MORE POWERFUL GAIS!''. :-/

That's why I usually play with friends...if not, I'll play with regular people and sometimes it turns out okay.

People running around with stats of 0 isn't a sign of the game dying. It just means melee is!

Would you prefer people running around with four digit numbers as win totals, like me?

I've had discussions regarding that issuse with Redcloak several times. I really don't know the answer to that, I'm afraid. Maybe the fact that we aren't googled much or crawled often could be the case. Another case I've looked into is that sclegacy is pretty much a direct link to the forums. We don't have that, per se.

I'm really hoping with SCG that we will get a lot more action here. I know it will happen, I just don't know to what degree. Regardless, I'm here through thick and bitter thin.

Same here Bret. Almost as much as D2, SC is what basically made me become a computer gamer. And these forums have shaped my outlook on many, many things. I can't leave even if things look pretty grim. >_<

And Melee is dead, my friends, mainly because of hackers. That's my opinion, anyhow.
