What do you think would make the best sorc?? What Skills are best??

u cant just specalise in one field, u have to mix n match cause of the res in hell, but generally, nova, orb, TS, LM works
some times hydra can be good, but nova, orb, TS, LM is the popular way to go

azk12000 is right... Hell is a pain if you don't take spells from every element... A friend had to kill a monster immuned to Fire with his staff... Because I didn't have any Lighting or Cold spells... But you can also buy a staff that gives you 3 levels of a good spells...

Ex.: You need to kill Bibibosh (easy one...) with a Fire sorceress... Get a staff giving you 2 levels of Nova. But later on the game, it will be harder to get over some bosses that way but you just had to do as azk12000 said...

I have a lvl 73 sorc that easily rushes normal to hell and she has nm13 to all skill lvls in total. My skills went to maxing my fire mastery and hydra (now does around 730-830 dmg). Now im concentrating on maxing my lghtning mastery which is now lvl 15. i dont even use orb.

my level 88 sorc is lightning/ice. maxed nova, TS, LM, orb. for those pesky immune to fire guys my merc handels most of them (level 88, Cruel ward bow, skullders, shako) she can kill ok when things get really sticky I go grab a fire skill staff in town.

people, you cant specify in one field cause in hell youll get into trouble......... personally i prefer these for spells:

static field
chain lightning
thunder sttorm
ice blast
blizzard
frozen orb
frozen armor ( it actually freezes attacker which is good in dueling)
firewall
hydra ( no it does not suck!)
sometimes fireball
sometimes meteor


these are spells i prefer and you should max out only some of then cause then youll rock

heh my mf/rusher uses:

max -
orb
ts
light mastery
firewall

also uses-
static
nova
and all basic spells sorcs use (i.e teleport)

she rocks hell and at the same time has 650 (approx) mf... she doesn't switch equipment... she just uses the same stuff for every situation... heh!

man everyone needs a strong orb, maxed ts, and bout lvl 20 or higher nova. if you have equipment that gives you plus to a lot of skills then this is really easy. the only time you will have trouble using this is in claw viper temple in hell where the guardian salamander guy is immune to both lightning and ice. otherwise i never needed fire magic since a lot of enemies are immune to it in hell.

The best ever sorc is a light/cold sorc or a light/fire sorc

I have a hybrid that uses all but my nova is level 37 and i got a level 20 firewall and 26 orb and level 37 tstorm thanks to lightning skill charms

i am a kick ass sorc. dont mean to brag but i am. i use....

cold mast
armor
absorb
static field



and using this i kick ass.
as a lvl 73 i have killed lvl 86 sorcs more than one. and the were not mf sorc. they were dueling.




and i think we can all agree what to use on a sorc. it isnt that tricky. like ww for a barb

it just works.

my lvl70 sorc uses Frozen Orb and Fire Wall that does about 3500dmg/s. im still working on the masteries. i put a few points in Static Field and Energy Shield also.
