The next big patch...

If there was another big patch that changed things in the game like 1.11 I think it was... what would you want changed?

I would want you to beablre to give others gas and minerals.
And a way you can log in-game chat... great stuff

That is only possible in AoE2 because the pace is REEEEEEEEEALLY slow!

SC is too fast paced for that kind of thing.
What I'd like is that game-search engine from bnet WC3. Match equal skilled players, and a rating system. That would make SC perfect!

I've had it needed in some melee games... I remember discussing it once with coRtALoS in a game... one of us got decimated and had like 350 minerals so we couldn't get a new Command center, it sucked alot

That extra 50 minerals would not have won you the game anyways...so why bother?

Oh it would have helped, all we needed was a command center, we had all the factories starports and such and SCVs... it would have won the game

The game is not fast paced where you couldn't share resources!?

You can download programs to run StarCraft in a windowed mode if you really need it.

The only update I can think of that I would find useful would be to change how the friends list operates in game. It always cuts off the top if you have more than 11 names on it. When 1.12 was going to be released, the one that added minimap pinging and right click rally points, they said that the friends list would not only be better in channels, but fit in the screen in a game. Unfortunately that hasn't happened, and I think it would be very useful.

I guess it is just a matter of opinion. No one can actually say YES or NO for sure without it actually being put into effect. It is my word against yours.

And what's with the +50? Yo8u could share a lot more then just an extra 50.

+50 to add to the delinquent 350 to get at least a CC/Nex. From Ryan's prev post, I understand that Both players were at 350; so I was wrong quoting just 50 minerals "shareable". What I truly meant was that, if both players lack resources, or even if one has more resources than the other and sharing IS required, even then it is at most a 2v1 matchup since one player is reconstructing while the second is just barely defending, and it becomes a true 2v1 once the weaker player is eliminated.

No chance of winning.
Just common sense, really.
