The melee sorc

so .. has anyone tryied the build .. and if so is it any good ..

if you didnt know ...
max enchant and warmth
max an armor frozen shiver .. or the other
and whatever els you would like

gear

passion zerker or 1 handed wepon
passion for zeal
and .. just good melee gear ss valor ect..

Obviously Energy Shield, T-Storm, and Enchant will be staples of the build.

I made a melee sorc in 1.09, did 10k damage ez one handed. You should be able to do the same with a good botd eth zerk.

and one of TS' synergies.

Str: around 200
Dex: enough to use any dex required items you choose, otherwise, base.
Vit: Rest
Eng: base.

Skills:
MAX Shiver Armor
MAX Enchant
MAX Eng Shield
MAX TS
1 Warmth
1 in Each mastery
1 in teleport
1 in all synergies for the other skills
1 per pre-req

Anything else, your choice.

Equip:
Subject to change

Mara's Kaliedescope
2 BK rings or rare/crafter rings
Arachnid Sash
War Travs

BOTD Zerker Axe

I guess melee sorc would be char thats only built for fun (like summoning druid only fun until norm act 1, but cant kill in act 2!!)

acually if you max thunderstorm fire emunes are gone .. and fire/lightning emune .... RUN LIKE HELL

Well, I think someone a long time ago made a Melee Sorc build using that godly Eth Archon BotD Staff with 3 Tele, Static, Warmth and some other stuff.

I tried searching for it, but I couldn't find it....

Anyhow, if you read that thread, his sorc > yours.

If you read the whole thread, youll note that I eventually abandonded the staff for a BOTD zerker axe and pruby'd SS. That staff was SO pwnage though .

Does mastery still effect elemental damage on the weapon as it did in 1.09?

yeah ok ...they already have melee chars...that are...actually good....so i really dont c the point of making a melee sorc

Its called "fun" or "experimentation". D2 gets way too boring if you keep making the same chars, just because they work well.
