there are so many gay people,people who are out to hack your account or steal your stuff/gold.preventing it is easy of course if you didnt know that then you are stupid these are very SIMPLE ways to keep your stuff and not get hacked.

1.if you want to play on open battle.net,make sure its not a character of an account you used on closed battlenet.because if hackers find your password your open and your closed character will be gone.so just make a different account for open battle.net if you insist on playing on a buggy shit server.

2.there are fags out there who will ask you to join their clan or check your ladder rank by typing out certain things example:/dnd lad rank password its an obvious hack that gives them your password and if you dont catch onto this your stupid.

3.diablo might have a patch that prevents cpopping but there are other ways of people stealing your shit,beware if a few assasins want to duel you and then line up outside of a bridge in a triangle then use traps against you.its a bug that causes you to pop.

4.**** drop games.dont bother with them theyre just newbs who cant put mf to good use and are hoping to get good stuff of of you.they wont drop anything good and will expect you to.your a dumbass if you do but if you must play drop something worthless like potions.its funny how they bitch at how worthless it is and they really thought you were going to just give them something worthwhile.just dont drop stuff that you want to keep or at some point it will be gone!

5.if a sorc asks you to drop something about 10 feet away from her,dont ****ing do it,she can still tele to it and it will be gone in a second!

6.if someone is offering you free runes etc to show them something by dropping it on the ground then they obviously want it.if that werent true then theyd have no problem viewing it in trade.i hate fags who dont catch that one,come on your not gonna get a lem for showing somone something

My Orcryst files, and my password actually contain deathtraps that permanently shut down your system. I never drop ANYTHING, I am pretty generous about good stuff, the only thing I don't give away are potions I don't need, or whatever I have on my body. And my cube, of course, bless it.
-About the Assassin popping scam, there are a couple of *reflect cracks that you can get, so you don't even have to get paranoid, you can just go 'oh well, they deserved it'. There are also a couple of debugging sites, that make the bug disappear. What gets to ME... is the bullshit people say in chatrooms. But thats beside the point.
The ladder rank command I didn't know about, thanks for telling me, even though I already have a clan, and in no way joining a different one.
You just gotta be smart, and nice. The nice part, is so people don't even WANT to hack you, cause you're cool to them, anyway.

Or you could do this. When people on closed come up and are like "keep it up and you'll find yourself with a nice lil account hack" just dare them. 9 times out of 10 there full of shit, and you usually come up with 20 failed login attempts.

The other 1 chance is there seriously and somehow hack your account, but thats rare now. Just be sure you've got a nice, tough, password.

Runes aren't really that hard to find. It's basically the fact that the item that has the perfect ammount of sockets, and that it's just the one you want... is what REALLY gets on my nerves. You have the right runes, and like, theyre in your damn stash like, forever, and you spend like a month, like, looking for like, an item, and then like, you start to get like, desperate... like.

high runes are hard to find, how man of those have you found
and finding an item with the right amount of sockets isnt really that hard because if it needs the max sockets for that item and its unsocketed just use your shenk quest on it

You only get to do that ONCE every difficulty. ...and its hard as HELL to find the right item, I.E. one better than your current one, that ISNT magical, and that has like, SIX SOCKETS. Breath of the Dying was hard to make, but i did it.
