Prelude
Back in 1.09, the SOJ, was the method of existing trades amongst the privileged (hackers’ a.k.a. cheaters). As SOJ became increasingly popular and produced, these “privilegedâ€, also became wealthier. Although the 290, and I will prove later, was the most superior item. Many ITH items were popular and sold at high prices. As time went on, the rich became more affluent, and the poor, ever increasingly more underprivileged, things were just getting daft. Increasingly, SOJs were starting to be produced by some of the inferiors, who according to the wealthy, were “abusing†the “systemâ€. As time progressed, new hacked and illegitimate items, were being produced and the SOJ value decreased. This scared many of the wealthy; why would this alarm them? (I will digress later on about this issue.) Then, what will be remembered, by many of the shoddier masses, The Blessed Night was a eminent and magnificent (to some) turning point. That night, the SOJ was so massed produced by a program, which later was established as a Trojan, that a good 60 + percentage of the people now owned countless Stones. The hackers’ utmost fear, and our supreme hope, prevailed! People were instantly able to acquire what a few only fantasized of possessing some day. This provoked a rebellion amid the hacker world, a new and superior item and currency was in the works…
The System
This “systemâ€, was the currency of the SOJ. Only the 290 was a considerable running mate against the SOJ. Why was this SOJ such a good item in the first place? Most likely because it could be used as a awesome item while scarce enough to produced as legal tender. This “system†was owned by the wealthy and they, as all greedy men are, refused to lose it. When the duplication programs became more popular and cracked, the masses decided to have themselves a piece of the pie that which they hungered for countless eras. The “system†was broke, and the wealthy were shit out of luck!
The Great Scare and the Blessed Night
That night, which the SOJ was duped beyond comprehension, opened many doors. Good doors, and terrible doors…nonetheless doors were wide open. As mentioned before, the poor masses now had the resources necessary to obtain items once owned only by the privileged. Now with the masses owning a good part of the game the snobs became upset and their anger showed it. Items were no longer one through five SOJs. Nor were they five through ten SOJs. Prices were at record highs of thirty plus SOJs. Almost to the point of two mules full. It was truly asinine to the point of people just trade hacking others with picture duplications. Things were in the works for a new “systemâ€.
A New Evil
The new “system†was out! The two socket bugged Valor, and the enigmatic 3.20.20. These two “evils†were released nearly at the same time. The Valor gave an innumerable advantages over many duels, and the worth of the 3.20.20. was ONLY the life it gave. The 3.20.20 has and had NO practical use except for trade and maybe life charms. Duels became impossible for “legit†duelers with these new Valor, and the production of the bugged LS. Alas, the 3.20.20 almost met the same fate as the SOJ, mass dupes and squandering led to mass chaos within the Battle.Net Realms. For some time this led on and seemed as though it would never end. While the ITH produces stayed at a reasonable sale the two socket Valor only went higher. ITH item were only duped and were highly annoying due to the Jah glitches. The 3.20.20 was here and if you did not assimilate into the fold of hackers then you were “n00by†and left behind.
Ladder: A New Hope
Blizzard was going to step in and help the legitimate shareholders. While it took almost a year or over a year to come out it was a great new beginning! Many people whined and bitched about the new 1.10 patch. These complete asses and bungles, which just could not wait preached unending sermons about how the patch was not coming out and that everyone should buy their hacked items because they would not disappear. Well month’s later assholes were sending letters to Blizzard swearing to God they would sue Blizzard for their purchases of illegitimate items that were deleted. Quite funny actually… Things were turning around. While most hacked items, were deleted and the SOJs stayed a balance was working out once again.
Conclusion: Brave New World
Ladder: it was fresh and new. No items existed, no currency lived. SOJs were found and now are deployed as legal tender. The SOJ there has a high, high price. While in the old-school realm, ITH, bugs, 3.20.20.s and misalliance items, were gone. One great item that has stood the test of time, the 290, again rises to the top! The item has a great price now. Although Enigmas have dropped in price the 290 still is proclaimed has superior. Some 3.20.20.s still exist and only are valued at half of a 290. Now 2x32020s for a 290, and of very late 4x32020s for a 290.
When hackers try to simulate an expensive and or cheap currency Blizzard must step in and fix the problems placed into motion. I hope Blizzard will not have to hop in again to save a dying world.
The 3.20.20. failed.
Notes
The signs of the New Times.
· Mousepad’s charged MH has been cracked and is now in use by the privilege few.
· Bots are at an all time high. They are penetrated all games and channels.
· Only a few drop hacks have been exploited.
While some rune duplication programs have been patched there are still going to be hacks “*undetected†by Blizzard.
* This is a fair warning! While they say the packets have not and cannot be traced, this assumption is false! Blizzard HAS a new way to detect. So why are they not banning? They are making a list. This list is huge! Not only does it have offenders of previous use back in old patches, but has the account and IP of EVERY gamer of the realms. They are only saving up this list for PERMINATE ban of these players for a new patch. This new patch will fix the bugs in the 1.10 patch.
Again, fair warning.
