The Clan Forum; Beneficial?

I am wondering if you feel that having a Clan Forum in which you are able to, in a sense, leave a message for someone in case they're not there to answer right away(kinda like an answering machince for a phone line), is beneficial to a Clan's activeness.

Forums are definately helpfull. Its an ez way for clan's to organize events, rather than having mass e-mails to deal with.

Regardless of where that vote was casted from, I'd like to think that it was not from anyone in the Clan, and just some random, banned, former member of the Forum...
