Text Effect Help

Well I was digging through the net or this stuff but turns out I can't find very many good sites that have the script for it. Well what I'm talking about are those little pieces of script that give the text that extra specialness. That'll blurr the text or give it a wind effect, or a drop shadow... Without having to make an image... Ya know? Well if you know the script or can give me a site for it, please, that would be appreciated. Thanks.
