Ive set all the triggers to move units from one location to the other...

CONDITION

"[Current player] brings [at least 1] [marine] to [Teleport 1]"

ACTION

"Move [1 marine] for [current player] at [Teleport 1] to [Teleport 2]"

Why aint it working then?! Its bloody stupid

Is it in that players posession, as in....player x, his force, or all players, so it will actually affect him?

Is the locations large enough for him to actually stand there, and the receiving location also big eough for him to be spawned there?

Has either locations properties been changed so that the location is set to air altitudes only?

Maybe you need to add a Preserve Trigger to the end of the trigger.

Let us know exactly what it is doing, or not doing.

Its easily big a enough location, and the location properties are all checked so it cant be that.

Whats happening is that they go to the beacon (the teleporter in the mission), which is location [teleport 1], and they stay there, they dont move to location 2, [teleport 2].

This is the main feature of the map ive made too.

You need a preserve trigger, and change the atleast 1 marine to exactly 1 marine

Do I need to do seperate triggers if I want to transport different types of units?

Such as, if I want to teleport Marines, firebats and medics, do I need to create seperate move unit action triggers for them?

Could you tell me how to set up a teleport trigger in full please?

Because ive done everythiong you've said and it still wont work.

I want to teleport jim raynor (marine form), a SCV and that firebat hero.

How do I do that?

The reason it won't work is it's set to teleport [1 Marine]. So if a marine goes there, it would prolly work, but won't work for any other unit. Also it will work only once. Change it to the following and it will work for any unit forever.

CONDITIONS:
"[Current player] brings [at least 1] [any unit] to [Teleport 1]"

ACTIONS:
"move [all] [any unit] for [current player] at [Teleport 1] to [Teleport 2]"

"Preserve trigger"

Feruk's nailed it, but I've noticed another problem with teleporting units...

You must make sure the locations are large enough -- sometimes doodads or terrain can get in the way even though it doesn't look like it.

also if u want to transport a unit back to the first location make sure that u set the trigger

bring at least 1 any unit to location2

move all units at location2 to location3
preserve trigger

(make sure to set another location close to location1)

And heres a small tip

Dont make it so if they move to location 1 they move to location 2 then when you bring to location 2 it will make them going back and forth 2 and fro location 1.
