i don't believe so. im pretty sure if you want in the tournament your put on a random team with random players. personally i think though it would be best to have friends or people whos style you know well to play with to be succesful

clearly, along with any competition. in the long run the well organized will always beat out the randoms. luckily, this is a random ass dota tournament, so expect some upsets

no, 2 skilled random players > 2 less skilled friends. It's the same, nm if it is melee or dota or even if another game. Not that I am in any of these two groups ^^
