TCP/IP Help

I'm trying to play with a friend over ip, but I cannot seem to find the option that let's me do so. It seems that it is the last choice, Local Network(UPD), but this is does not let me input an ip which to connect to.

Any help would be appreciated. :wavey

yes, but i gave my friend my cd key so he could play, so we can't play together.

i cant really explain really good but
choose whos ip your goign to connect to

go to start>run>type in ipconfig>copy down the ip>connect

You could buy another copy of SC, or order online, so that you get 2 CD keys. Other than that, I think the only choice is playing in a LAN.

, but then why does starcraft have tcp/ip? Maybe they made it not work so you could buy more copies of their game.
