Hmm.. Im guessing it would be your choice on wolf or bear. More options with wolf.

As far as spirits go, you're obviously going to want the life one.

An idea would be to keep your strength low and use enigma that way you can have more points into vitality. (vita= tankage.)

CTA would help too. You're gonna want high defence armor. I dont think this would be a cheap build.

Wolf is good.

Max Lycantrophy, Werewolf, Fury and Heart of wolverine. If you prefer life over damage / ar, max Oak sage instead of Wolverine.

If you want, you can put some xtra points into Grizzly to have one more tank.

Stats...well, it's up to you. You can stop putting points into vitality when you get to 2k life and then pump up strength to have more damage, or you can put the points in this way:

Str min for gear
Dex for max block (if you use stormshield) or to have a decent ar with your gear
Vita all the rest
Energy base

You also have to use an Act 2 Nightmare Offensive mercenary, cuz he has Might aura, and increases your damage.

if you want an absolute tank that can take anything get werebear, lycanthropy, oaksage, grizzly, maul. you can have over 3k life if you get some decent gear.

ive had a bear b4 and they just don't die... even if you have a 2 handed weapon

Wouldn't wearbear be better for tanking because each level adds to defense..?

Bear and use wolves if you want tanks. But with all those points going to defense, I'd be worried about your damage output. And you know what they say.... the best defense is a good offense. If an enemy is dead, it can't kill you.
