The famous "Stroop Effect" is named after J. Ridley Stroop who discovered this strange phenomenon in the 1930s. Here is your job: name the colors of the following words. Do NOT read the words...rather, say the color of the words. For example, for the word BLUE, you should say "RED". Say the colors as fast as you can. It is not as easy as you might think!

I sucked horribly and only got "grey and orange" correct

at our skool we had a science fair like 4 motnhs ago i dunno,... and we were timed within 6 seconds to name them all. try that, and dont blur your eyes

if i was very tired, it might have thwarted me. but in this case i did it about as easily as it would have been if they were the same color as the words.

took me 2 tries, and i had alot of trouble on both.... I slowed down a touch on the 2nd one more than the first one.
