Switching Characters

Hey Guys,
I was just wondering..
My PC is pretty much toasted..
I just went and got a new copy of D2 LOD for this PC
that I am on now..
I wish there was a way I could transfer my characters
to this PC.
Do you think this is possible?
I can get on my old PC to grab any files.. I just can't run D2..
Thanks for any help or advice..

some additional info:
I am running windows XP.
I only play characters in single player.
let me know if I have left any important info out..

umm goto ur d2 directory, where u find a folder called "save"
there will be ur char name with a d2s extention, copy that onto a disk or e-mail and put in other computer

they should be small enoguh for floppy. maybe 2.
