Surround Sound

I hooked up my surround sound for my new computer and the sound onl works through 2 speakers. How can i keep them to go through all of em. Btw IM super newb

what kind of speakers did you get?

you will have to change the amount of speakers you are listening through within windows.

do you have a 5.1 supporting sound card?

Start >> Control Panel >> Sounds and Audio Devices >> Speaker Settings (at bottom)>> Advanced >> Change to the appropriate setting

even if you don't have a sound card that can support 2.1+ systems...most high-end speaker systems will let you 'up-mix' to more channels
