Anyone have any cool plans to go anywhere this summer? How about doing something locally?

I might go to Chicago this summer and see many different sites, but I have no idea what else I'm going to do with my time.:deadhorse:

I'll be out of school on the 20th. Flying to Texas on the 23rd, where I'll be getting paid 10 dollars an hour to sit in an art gallery. I'll be working there till mid-June, then flying back to PA, buying a car, and leaving on a massive road trip.

Yeah, I'll probably be gone for like three months. I should tell an admin about that or something. I'll have a wifi hookup on the road, but it'll mainly be for getting directions and emailing people to ask if I can sleep on their floor.

So far it looks we'll be hitting Philly, NYC, Chicago, Richmond, Marfa TX, Arcata CA, San Francisco, Boston and maybe some other places.

I'm seriously thinking about sucking off my share of the bitter-sweet juice of the welfare system, so I'd be able to enjoy my first free summer since 2001.

I think its a better plan that indulging in a sabatic year. Plus, the fine folks at the unemployment office are supposed to find me a job anyway.
