try emailing norton or something and asking how? I recommend searching for it in that directory first, but ask norton or someone anyway.

well...it seems youre the only one whose heard about i so far...get a better one....like mcaffeee or norton. chances are, if more than a couple people havent heard of it, its not all that great. theres free online scans you can run too, see if you cant pick something up there.

try http://www.pandasoftware.com/ they have a free online scan lower left that is supposed to be good.

It's been a while since I've run '98, but could you go into the Startup of msconfig if '98 has that and set that particular thing to not run on startup?

As in go to the Run prompt, type msconfig hit run, choose the Startup tab and uncheck that line...
Again, it's been a while, maybe '98 doesn't have that.

It would be beter to properly remove it though, and stay away from downloads that may have brought it to you in the first place.

Delete the file. If something goes wrong in Internet Explorer, download it free from Microsoft. I hope that it doesn't affect anything else though.
