twice now I have had the items i am using drop off my character and someone else pick some of the up. I do not use hack programs and wish everyone else would stop. Is there a program out there that will protect me from people who use these "drop it" programms to steal other peoples items?

He is not talking about drophacks, he is complaining about item-drophacks ... you must have downloaded some prog/visited their site since you can't make other players drop their equipment

Back in 1.09 this happend with gheed, but i belive it would dupe your items, not remove them from your inventory,

Forcing other players to drop their items seems highly unlikly, when did this happen?

As I said, you probably have some module running/visited a site ... or you had your items in the trade window and got force-accepted but I *highly* doubt that your items were removed from your body and dropped to the ground + d2 shutsdown. That is the way drophacks work btw, and they have to be excecuted.

I am talking about item drop. It has happened twice. Both time I was in town with other players. The 1st time the items I had on dropped to the ground. A player took a wedding band and left the game. The 2nd time the items in my inventory fell on the ground and a player took my Alders Armour. I have not visited any web sites or "clan" sites so I don't think I have been infected, but I can wipe the hard drive and reload if this will solve this problem.
