This site has a lot of the best StarEdit utilities. StarForge is the third one down.

Tutorials on how to do basically anything can be found here. For basic map making, I'd suggest X-tra Editor (better for triggers). All the StarForge Tutorials I knew about have been removed, but if you have some kind of problem while using it, just ask and someone will take care of you ^^
