Download this Starforge2. It has the required files. You need to install the required files first before instaling SF2.

StarForge 2
StarForge is a map editor built from scratch. Now in its second version, it can do many interesting things, including placing square terrain, protecting maps, placing half-built buildings, and units for the hyper players (players 9-255) with interesting effects such as doubling the fire rate. StarForge plans to be just as powerful as hex-editing the map yourself, without the need to be a Neo.

Keep in mind that this is an advanced editor. It's not recommended for beginners.

i tried that and it no longer asks for a file...however when i install it, it still says that some weird file is in use (to be exact C:\WINDOWS\system32\hhctrl.ocx) i click ignore and install it and everything goes well but when i try to start starforge it says error 53 file not found then again error 53 file not found then it says runtime error 53 file not found and it opens starforge but i cant do anything, what i cant get is i even manually copied the file it didnt copy and its still giving me the weird error but thanks for the files they did help me get a bit farther :-/

EDIT: its still saying the same error

Ignore those files and then open Starforge from:
Start > All Pograms(or Pograms for non xp'ers) > Starcraft > Starforge.

Well, I don't know what to tell you. I'm not an expert in this. The last thing I suggest is you do is check your computer, Windows Update it, Scan it for viruses, adware, stuff like that. Then reinstall it. Other than that I'd suggest you use SCMDraft 2. Doesn't require any other files other than itself. Has many of the same features as StarForge.

Start -> Run, type "regedit" and hit enter. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software and delete the StarForge folder. Make sure that StarForge.exe is located in the same folder as the data folder, and run it again.
