First things first: its 1:11 AM right now, and I'm pretty tired.
Second things second: I don't know how exactly to word this, but i'll try my hardest.

You get to choose a few units, or buildings (like how I chose a Ghost + Nuke Silo in the What unit would you want thread). We need to have a cut-off date, so we can have a group of people.

The objective: We are all placed on this huge map (meh, something I could draw out, would be kinda cool I think), and we would duke it out, seeing who wins (this isn't a map, it's here). We would have to write outlines on how strong each character is, what the exact strengths and weaknesses are, the obstacles to overcome, etc. I think if another person or two invested some though into this, we could make a makeshift BF Survivor: SC Style. I think that would just be awesome.

How many units can we have max to start with? 2? 3? 4?

Maybe a cap of like 2 at first, and we could have a ranking sysyem on how many you could gert more as you progressed wins and losses with your fellow BF Members. I like the
idea Kao, need's some tweaking but It's a nice concept. :)

Hmm..I'm more awake now, but all the though last night is gone *re-reads post*.

Lets say you start off with only a selection of a few units, like a Marine, a Firebat, a Zealot, a zergling, and a Hydralisk. They are all balanced to kill each other so playing is relying on how you attack, not just brute force.

Marine HP: 25
Marine Damage: 4
Marine Armor: 5
Marine Attack Speed: "Slow"

Firebat HP: 35
Firebat Damage: 5
Firebat Armor: 3
Firebat Attack Speed: "Slow"

Zealot HP: 15
Zealot Shields: 20
Zealot Damage: 6
Zealot Armor: 2
Zealot Attack Speed: "Slow"

Zergling HP: 40
Zergling Regeneration: 1 Life every 5 Seconds
Zergling Damage: 3
Zergling Armor: 0
Zergling Attack Speed: "Fast"

Hydralisk HP: 30
Hydralisk Damage: 3
Hydralisk Armor: 2
Hydralisk Attack Speed: "Medium"

Attack Speeds:
Very Slow = 1 Attack every 9 Seconds
Slow = 1 Attack every 7 Seconds
Medium = 1 Attack every 5 Seconds
Fast = 1 Attack every 3 seconds

Generally:
Very Slow Attacks = More Powerful, More Armor, More HP (use for Assulting)
Very Fast Attacks = Less Powerful, Less Armor, Less HP (used for Swarms)

Post what you think we could have. I am thinking that for each kill you make versus an enemy, you get Minerals, and with those minerals, you can choose to either Buy another unit or build a base and make units.

It will be Turn-Based-Combat to prevent two or three players from playing (meaning we need active members only).

Post Ideas/Comments/Suggestions.

This could work better if we made a map about it. I like the idea, it's just hard to execute. Count me in on it though.

I was actually thinking about making a map and all that stuff, like a "dungeon", or something to spice it up, but it would probably be pretty bland because i'm not "too" good making graphics. Nevertheless, if anyone here has ever Role-Played, you don't need to have a good-looking map to know what's going on ;)

When i said map, i actually meant a SC map. But whatever is cool ;)

-EDIT---> OMG, why don't we make up our OWN SC-heroes? That'd be hella fun!!!

yeah i mean after a few kills we could like gain rank and get better upgrades and stuff

Oh god making our own heroes. That's such a damn good idea!!

Oh, and anyone really good with terrain? I was actually thinking this would be a Paper- [or done in paint] map just for ideas, but whatever works I take it. Image = More people playing.

If we use an image map, we will need grids so we know where everyone is.

How about this? It has islands and stuff. I'm not a photoshopper so don't expect me to add grids.

Hmm. That does look interesting Renzo, but I'm not sure many people here like Island Maps, if you know what I mean. I want my own hero! Yes, I love that idea. Not too tough, you'ed balance them out but to have a creation of my own, awesome!

My hero would be ROFFLE THE WAFFLE and he'd be a Zealot with 9999 sheilds and 9999 HP.

Sound fair?

Oh, to make things better, and to add a "leveling" system, you need to achieve a certain amount of kills in order to gain more HP. Say, every 10 kills = 2 or 3% more HP.

I swear, if we can accumulate enough heroes, ideas and other such things, we could make a half-decent SC-map on this.

That sounds too much like Diablo, and I don't like that game :-/...

Meh, but it could be done, yes, specially if sugested in the UMS forums ;)

Eh. We don't have overpowered spells, and we could edit the abilities to be more team based strategy, and not something that's rigged or anything. I agree with Renzo on this, If we could balance it, I'd be fun. Also, I doubt anyone wants a game with a single unit that kills everything, you know?

That's where the 'leveling' part would come in. Then again, we could either take this PvP or PvM, which both I don't mind, but if it were PvM it would be pretty....you know....boring because it's the same as others, just with a few new gimics.

And yes, it seems we will probably have to make an SC map on this.
